Drop us a line or two . . .

The episode kicks off with Queenie sharing a genuinely sweet midweek adventure: she took two of her assignee's kids — a 17-year-old and a 13-year-old — to the Cheesecake Factory while their parents were opening a bank account. The older one was laser-focused on driving regulations and motorcycle licenses (Queenie admirably held her tongue on the motorcycle safety speech). The younger one? Entirely concerned with what time school starts and what's for breakfast. Kids, man. Dad, who's been in the country solo for five months waiting for his family to arrive, looked — her words — so happy and so relieved. It's a quietly moving little story buried in a Tuesday errand.

Then it's time for the cannabis check-in. TT has consumed — a Flora Cal Farms gummy, working through her stash while counting down the days to her Massachusetts trip and a restock. Queenie jumps on that segue to mention there's a governor's race heating up, with one candidate planning to fund state needs through cannabis revenue — you know, the things the federal government has apparently decided are optional. Before anyone can get too excited, Queenie drops a bombshell: Massachusetts may have a ballot initiative this November to *repeal* recreational cannabis legalization. Not scale back, not adjust — repeal. The culprit being cited for upticks in youth cannabis use? Largely unregulated hemp-derived products sold at gas stations, not licensed dispensaries — which, it should be noted, run tighter ID checks than New York. Opponents want to return to a decriminalized-but-not-legal framework. The ladies are bewildered but not surprised. Meanwhile, California's state fair just made cannabis its biggest attraction ever, complete with consumption areas. Conflicting signals, as always.

The research corner delivers something genuinely hopeful: a phase-two London trial involving 120 dementia patients found that nearly 90% receiving THC and CBD showed significantly reduced agitation over twelve weeks, compared to typical anti-agitation medications. For anyone who has watched a family member with advanced dementia deteriorate — or watched a caregiver reach their absolute limit — this lands. Queenie notes that agitation is often the tipping point when families say they can't do it anymore. No serious safety issues were reported. Caveats noted (not peer-reviewed, not a first-line therapy, professional supervision required), but the hope is real and both hosts feel it.

The "Wait, What?" segment this week is actually a delight: French Sundays. The concept, apparently trending, is simply treating Sunday as the French traditionally do — a full day of rest, family, and absolutely nothing productive. No errands, no scheduled activities, just slow and still. Queenie and Queenie both immediately recognize it as childhood. Before stores were open seven days, before travel sports, before the internet had opinions about your productivity — Sunday was just *off*. The deeper point: you have to be able to do it guilt-free. Not white-knuckling your way through a nap while mentally listing everything you're ignoring. Just... being. Self-hibernation, as Queenie puts it. The episode later ends with TT performing an original French Sundays poem — wine at noon, bread, cheese, no apologies — and it's genuinely lovely.

TT's Choice lands on number 23: hot flashes forever vs. night sweats forever. Neither is good. TT picks night sweats immediately — at least you're not performing a personal inferno for a live audience. Queenie agrees, recounting watching a woman her age just *become a furnace* mid-conversation. The solidarity is real. Queenie also admits she still gets the occasional night sweat — that sudden wash of heat moving through your body and then, yes, the cooling bamboo sheets she invested in are now cold and wet. They work. They do not work *enough.* The furnace wins. Another item for the list.

Speaking of lists — the Fuck It List delivers this week, and it's a genuine victory lap. The mystery of the missing keys (lost eleven times, found in the bra, the freezer, the planter by the stairs, the coat pockets) has been solved. Queenie zip-tied the key ring directly to the purse. The purse never leaves her mother's side. The lanyard is long enough that she doesn't have to lift the entire purse to unlock a door. No tech, no app, no smart lock — just a six-inch zip tie and the accumulated frustration of a devoted, exhausted daughter who finally said *fuck it* and handled it. She felt triumphant. She deserved to.

The episode closes with travel energy — TT and her partner are packing for the Cape, with TT's approach being "throw things on the bed and hope for the best" versus her partner's meticulous shirt count. A suitcase mostly of new underpants is involved. Brynn (daughter) has passed her unofficial puppy audition after successfully dog-sitting, and the puppy in question is growing fast and already doing a 30-second sit-stay before dinner. The pig update is, as always, essential: Bartholomew the 180-pound pet pig demands exactly three Cheerios after using the litter box, has claimed the couch permanently, and once hid himself entirely under a mountain of blankets — invisible, enormous, content. His unofficial co-owner would apparently not contest sole custody. The pig whisperer of the situation? Linda. Alan will not go near it.

Next episode, TT will be seaside. Queenie will be counting the days. Everyone is encouraged to try a French Sunday.

## SHORT SUMMARY

Queenie meets her assignee's kids over Cheesecake Factory excess, TT works through her cannabis stash while Massachusetts considers *repealing* recreational legalization, and a London dementia study offers real hope about THC and CBD for agitation. Also: night sweats vs. hot flashes, the triumphant zip-tie solution to a lost-key saga, a 180-pound pig who demands three Cheerios post-litter-box, and a pitch for guilt-free French Sundays — complete with an original poem.

## TOP 5 PULL QUOTES

**Queenie:** "I understand people who are concerned about heroin and drug use — that ruins your life. But come on, this is pot we're talking about. Not only is it not harmful in most cases when it's used judiciously, it's helpful to people. It's helpful to so many people."

**TT:** "I'd have to pick night sweats, even though I still get them sometimes, because at least you're not in public — you're not flaring up and having people stare at you going, 'Dear, are you okay?'"

**Queenie:** "Bring the zip ties, bring ingenuity, bring a solution born of love — and zip tie the key to the purse, the purse she never puts down."

**TT:** "You have to be able to do it guilt-free. Not sit there thinking, 'God, I should be doing this, I'm just lazy, what is wrong with me?' Because sometimes that's what you need to do."

**TT (French Sundays poem):** "No guilt, no hustle, no excuses. Just bread and cheese and no apologies. The French pour the wine at noon and stay there, and nothing productive is missed."

## EPISODE VIBE

This one is warm and a little weary in the best possible way — the kind of episode that feels like a long phone call with someone who gets it. There's genuine tenderness in the stories (a relieved dad reunited with his family after five months, a daughter zip-tying keys to her mother's purse with quiet, determined love), real anger at the absurdity of the cannabis policy landscape, and actual hope in the dementia research. The humor is lived-in rather than performed — night sweat solidarity, a pig who has claimed the couch and everyone just accepts it, a suitcase of underpants as legitimate travel strategy. French Sundays gives it a closing exhale, a collective permission slip to just stop for a minute. It's an episode that earns its wry tone because underneath it, these two are clearly paying attention to the world and to each other.

speaker-0 (00:48.322)
My god, it's well no, he jumps off the bed. It's like boom. Yeah, like I'm ready, I'm ready. So T T yesterday I had the opportunity to meet two of my assignee's children, two two of the three.

speaker-1 (01:08.674)
How old are they?

speaker-0 (01:11.032)
This let's see, was the seventeen year old and thirteen year old. So while parents were opening a bank account, I thought we don't want to sit there for an hour and stare at each other. So I thought, what could we do? So we were right in colony. So we went to the cheesecake factory.

speaker-1 (01:15.854)
Okay.

speaker-1 (01:35.502)
Fine.

speaker-0 (01:36.472)
Just thought this would be a great opportunity to see the absolute excesses of American society. Because you know the menu's so big and portions are pretty pretty substantial, the restaurant's big. Yeah. Yeah, we had fun. It was interesting. The older s son was very interested in driving, wanted to know how

speaker-1 (01:54.958)
Okay.

speaker-0 (02:00.866)
you know, all the regulations around getting his permit, how long he had to wait, how long before he could get his license. Asked about a motorcycle license. And I I resisted, you know, lecturing about lecturing him. How unsafe motorcyc you know, I don't think motorcycles are safe and you're too young. But I s I just I I did not pr pass any judgment. And it was just it was just funny. And then the the the younger of the two

was most concerned about what time school started, you know, how early in the morning and what kind of food would they be getting for breakfast and lunch.

So yeah, it was it was pretty funny. Yeah. So what kind of food will I have? I'm like, well, you know, it just really depends. Usually there's a hot offering and sandwiches and fruit and so it was they were very p very polite, very polite, nice young men. So I think next week, I'm gonna take mom and the three kids. I'm gonna

speaker-1 (02:44.366)
Baby serving.

speaker-0 (03:07.298)
Hit the hit the sites. We'll do a an area tour and all that good stuff because dad's going back to work. So Well no, he's been at work, but he yeah, yeah. some time off to spend with them. So they all he looked he looked so happy and so so relieved. He's been here for ooh five months without his family. So that's that's hard.

speaker-1 (03:13.912)
Yeah.

yeah, it's okay. We took some time off when they came.

speaker-1 (03:36.02)
It is. Yeah. That's hard and so boy with a seventeen year old. I can see why they don't want to be in Russia.

speaker-0 (03:41.057)
huh.

Yeah. So it's been very challenging. So we it it was it was it was fun. So they're very nice young men. So yes, I'm looking forward to spending some time spending some time with them next next week.

speaker-0 (04:14.488)
So T T have you consumed today?

speaker-1 (04:17.868)
I have consumed, which is unusual for me this early in the morning, however, I have had a gummy Flora Calfarms.

speaker-0 (04:25.09)
I get me.

speaker-0 (04:28.962)
These are your big ass bag.

speaker-1 (04:31.074)
This is a different one. This is they're almost gone. I've been using my stash.

speaker-0 (04:37.218)
Metering metering them out. Pretty soon, one week you'll be back in the lap of all sorts of luxury with your cannabinoids and terpenes just woo in the state of Massachusetts. Cool.

speaker-1 (04:55.704)
Well, I'm excited 'cause we have a governor's race coming up and one of the candidates right now we have a a primary in a couple of weeks, but one of the candidates is going to is planning to use revenue from cannabis sales to fund some of the things that need funding in the state. So I was like,

speaker-0 (05:16.204)
Like education or infrastructure or health care, things like that.

speaker-1 (05:20.167)
The things the federal government has given up on for us. So yeah.

speaker-0 (05:24.578)
Wow, that's nifty. Did you see that the state of Massachusetts will be voting on whether or not to repeal the laws allowing recreational marijuana? What? Yes, there's a there's an initiative that's going to appear on the ballot this November for the citizenry of the Commonwealth to decide to continue with recreational marijuana or repeal the legislation.

speaker-1 (05:52.023)
Where is this coming from? It's been so good for the state.

speaker-0 (05:57.334)
Yeah. Absolutely. I d I but yeah, isn't that something? I also saw that there was a a state that recently was it Vermont? No. Maine. It was a state with a a large rural primarily rural state. They doubled the amount that people could purchase at any one time from one ounce to two ounces because because of the distance between

speaker-1 (06:20.322)
Yeah.

speaker-0 (06:21.558)
So you've got so again, we've got these conflicting attitudes and and conflicting legislation. and also I read an article today that the California State Fair, the biggest attraction this year, starting this year, has been cannabis. So it's taken what twenty-five years since they've legislated, they've legalized cannabis in one way, shape, or form. And now we're to the point where there's a whole exhibit hall.

devoted to cannabis where people can, you know, look at the different plants and talk then and their their grading and you know, the whole deal's just stay fair. And then they also and they and they have consumption areas. that's also for the first time. So it's it's crazy. Massachusetts has become a key battleground state for opponents of adult use cannabis. They want to outlaw recreational sales nationwide.

So there's the Coalition for a Healthy Massachusetts and they are behind the ballot question and they propose returning to a time when recreational cannabis was decriminalized, not legal. So

speaker-1 (07:28.108)
What what is the motivation of these people?

speaker-0 (07:30.966)
Massachusetts saw a spike in underage cannabis consumption between twenty twenty and twenty twenty three, but state health officials attributed it to hemp deriv hemp derived cannabis products, which were unregulated until recently. So

speaker-1 (07:46.11)
Things at gas stations, yeah.

speaker-0 (07:48.194)
Right. So recent studies, including one from Mass General Brigham, suggest teen cannabis use has increased as legalization spreads, citing easier access to their parents' stash or poorly monitored websites. But Massachusetts dispensaries are pretty strict. They've got multiple ID checks. They're stricter than New York, quite honestly. They have security guards and you know, you have to they they usually have someone like post it outside.

Bright. Right. Yeah. So yeah, it's a little different. so that's gonna be interesting.

speaker-1 (08:22.082)
There are groups that are just so adamant. I mean I understand people who are concerned about, you know, like heroin drug use and that kind of that does that ruins your life, you know. But come on, this is this is pot we're talking about. Not only is it not harmful in most cases when it's used, you know, judiciously, it's it's helpful to people. It's helpful to so many people.

speaker-0 (08:33.314)
Correct.

speaker-0 (08:37.761)
Yeah, we're talking apples and oranges.

speaker-0 (08:51.532)
And I have an another article that that highlights just that. There was an article printed, it was based on a study that was done in London with dementia patients that were back with dementia patients, that people with some advanced dementia symptoms sometimes become agitated. And they found that they followed 120 patients that nearly ninety percent receiving THC and C B D, their agitation was significantly reduced.

over the twelve week period compared to

speaker-1 (09:22.776)
Amazing. Wa one of the things that families say, I can't do this anymore. Right.

speaker-0 (09:28.908)
Right. And typical anti agitation medications don't have the same effect with this population. So this way w they were able to see improvement and no serious safety issues. So this was a phase two trial, hadn't been peer reviewed yet.

speaker-1 (09:33.816)
Just because

speaker-1 (09:46.968)
Amazing.

speaker-0 (09:52.588)
But it should, you know, medical experts are saying, of course, cover emphasize this should not be a first-line therapy and shouldn't be obtained without professional supervision as unregulated products could contain contain harmful contaminants. So the big caveat. But so, you know, there in countries where they're studying the effects of THC and C B D and the possible benefits, we're we're getting some of this.

speaker-1 (10:07.81)
Right.

speaker-0 (10:21.304)
This data, this information yeah, yeah, that may may help people. And you know, no serious safety issues. There's hope yet and we can just sit around

speaker-1 (10:29.952)
Yes. Especially, you know, at this point in our lives we're getting closer to you know.

speaker-0 (10:37.058)
We're getting closer to agit agitation. Well, I don't know. I could ar I could make the argument I'm pretty much there now. So

speaker-1 (10:43.566)
Like everything and everybody agitates him.

speaker-0 (10:46.742)
little bit. Hold up hold up hold up the thing weight against Nope, still don't bel to we're too no way. Jose is the segment where the truth won't stay away. So T, do you want to play wait what? Yeah I saw something pretty interesting that caught my eye and it really

speaker-1 (10:49.646)
Did you hear the thing of What say say so Wait what no

speaker-1 (10:59.692)
Whoa.

speaker-0 (11:12.696)
Harkened back to another time. I saw an article that basically stated that people have begun embracing French Sundays.

speaker-1 (11:24.632)
French Sundays. What are French Sundays?

speaker-0 (11:27.126)
Might you you wanna try to guess what a French Sunday might be? Any any immediate immediate impulses or thoughts when I said French Sunday, what came to mind?

speaker-1 (11:38.658)
said French Sunday, I thought of an ice cream Sunday. And but then my and then I was like, well maybe it's just something that is very commonly done on Sunday afternoons in France.

speaker-0 (11:49.77)
funny you should say that because that's actually what it is. So French Sundays in French France French Sundays are treated as a day of rest. What a surprise. It's a day where you spend time with your family. It's a day where you don't do anything. You don't schedule yourself for anything. You just slow down. Yeah. Hang and

speaker-1 (12:14.546)
How lovely is it Sundays used to be like that when we were kids. Yeah. Right? Yeah. These were just do nothing days. Be after church, of course.

speaker-0 (12:19.598)
Yes. Do you yes, don't you? Yes.

Well, and also because stores weren't open. Mm-hmm. There were blue laws, remember? Yeah. So you couldn't go you couldn't go to the mall on Sunday. I don't you couldn't. You might be able to go to the grocery store, but only till three or five o'clock, a restaurant, yeah. But there weren't

all these organized sports for kids either. So you weren't in your vehicle all the time. And yeah, we you didn't have all the distraction of media, electronics. So it was a time

speaker-1 (13:08.418)
The Sunday matinee.

speaker-0 (13:10.316)
You did have and Lawrence Welk, but also bus there were a few very few businesses that were running seven days a week, twenty-four hours a day. So that is Sundays were a default day off unless you were in healthcare. Right. Or a first responder. But yeah, there wasn't this drive or need to be product producing twenty four hours a day. So

speaker-1 (13:18.83)
Yeah.

speaker-0 (13:38.146)
Yes, de facto default Sunday was, I think, as intended, a day of rest. I think that was the original plan, if you know, that's what you ascribe to. Yeah, so it's obviously found to be healthier and you know, having some dedicated family time, me time, self time, do nothing time, all of the above. So I think French Sundays sound tremendous.

speaker-1 (13:45.036)
Yeah.

speaker-1 (14:05.022)
Sounds lovely. It does. It sounds like what it was like when we were a little kid.

speaker-0 (14:09.194)
Mm-hmm. But you have to be able to do it guilt free. Not not not sit there and think, God, I should be doing this. I got this to do. my God, I'm just lazy. What is wrong with me? Why do I think I it's okay to just sit here and do nothing? Right. Because sometimes that's what you need to do.

speaker-1 (14:16.77)
Thing, isn't

speaker-1 (14:23.969)
A rolling.

speaker-1 (14:28.374)
So that's what you need is right. We all need that. We all need just blank headspace, empty headspace, you know?

speaker-0 (14:35.95)
Yes. maybe view it as a bit of self hibernation. You know, you're gonna give yourself some time to just be just in yourself, rejuvenate a little bit.

speaker-1 (14:46.496)
Yeah, it's it's important. It's very important for mental health to have those down times.

speaker-0 (14:52.726)
have to sit with yourself sometimes. So why not do it on Sundays? I know. That I know.

Either or peace war Madonna or this that skinny fat

speaker-1 (15:05.25)
Horror.

Dog, cat, eat no

speaker-0 (15:13.28)
Alright, are you ready to play T T's Choice?

speaker-1 (15:17.198)
I am ready to play.

speaker-0 (15:19.598)
TT's ready to play. Queenie's ready also, if you recall, TT's choice. We have 75 items. They're either either ors. What ifs? Would you rather? Things along those lines. TT has to choose a number one through 75. We've played this for about 13, 14 weeks. So those numbers are no longer available to TT. What number would you like?

speaker-1 (15:46.382)
I would like to twenty-three, two, three.

speaker-0 (15:49.602)
Two, three. Hmm, this looks interesting. It's an either or. Hot flashes forever or night sweats forever. Is that really a choice?

speaker-1 (15:58.072)
Dear.

I guess when do you want your hot flesh is the choice.

speaker-0 (16:05.386)
Yeah. When would you rather when would you want to be saturated with your own secretions?

speaker-1 (16:11.18)
I I'm I'd have to pick night sweats, even though I do get them sometimes still, but because at at least you're you're not in public.

speaker-0 (16:20.878)
Yes, you're not you're not f flaring up and having staring at you. So you're not making other people feel by people looking at you going dear, are you okay? I mean seriously. The woman, you know, my assignee that I was with a couple of weeks ago and she was, you know

speaker-1 (16:24.6)
Ways carrying off of your

speaker-1 (16:31.406)
Yeah.

speaker-0 (16:48.224)
a woman of prime age and I ch I just turned to say something to her and my god the poor thing was just like a furnace. She was on fire, melting. Like there was and I just looked right I said, I said I said I said I said I woke up you know just I just said poor thing poor thing. I know. my God. So I think yeah I I'm with you on that one too. I I just I could not

endure that in public. No. No.

speaker-1 (17:20.586)
I just remember times when I thought to myself, can they see this happening? Like standing there talking to someone and

speaker-0 (17:26.99)
Why not?

Now I do have that happen to me maybe one evening a month. I'll find I'll be s watching something or evening. Not no, not not f hot flashes. I'll be sitting there and then all of a sudden I just feel moving down my body. It's like haw. And then you've literally feel the sweat like coming out of your pores. Yes. How did this just it was like whoosh, how did this just happen?

speaker-1 (17:37.614)
In the e

speaker-1 (17:54.188)
Yeah. Yeah.

speaker-1 (17:58.892)
I know, our bodies are so weird.

speaker-0 (18:00.77)
Weird and remarkable, but I'd rather again I'd rather have to suffer and s suffer by myself. Right. Yeah. And

speaker-1 (18:10.144)
And Yeah. And and you know, it's loss of sleep, it's whatever, but still I'd rather do it that way.

speaker-0 (18:17.442)
Yeah, and and then you're not calling attention to your your old decrepit self. And you know, my my aunt my aunt c would turn red. R I mean, there was no so uncomfortable. I mean, it made you just looking, you were like, my god.

speaker-1 (18:21.582)
Your malfunctioning.

speaker-1 (18:36.151)
Asking me one time. Are you flashin'?

speaker-0 (18:38.862)
Yeah. You think? Yeah. Yeah. Well you're either having a s an MI or or a hot flash. Something so much fun. So much fun. All right. Well that was quickful. Yeah, that was down and dirty 'cause there's nothing pleasant about that. And you know what's worse? So I've started sleeping, I've gotten these sheets that are like they're

speaker-1 (18:48.407)
Okay.

speaker-0 (19:08.046)
Cooling sheets. So I think they're like a bamboo somehow mixture. Okay. So when you lay down on them, they do feel cool. They're vi they have that sensation. Okay. I don't even know how they do it, but plus I do keep my bedroom cool. As you know, when you wake up with an after night sweats, you're like again, saturated. So I don't know about you. Dripping, yes, like.

speaker-1 (19:09.472)
Mm, I've heard.

speaker-1 (19:34.178)
Wet sheet Wet sheets, wet.

speaker-0 (19:39.096)
So get up, go to the restroom, you know, take care of your whatever. Go back now here. Now I'm going back into bed and it's fucking freezing and wet.

speaker-1 (19:53.044)
'Cause the sheets are wet.

speaker-0 (19:55.486)
Yeah, it's like Mother of God. Yeah. It's gross.

speaker-1 (20:00.876)
Well, the cooling sheets work.

speaker-0 (20:03.042)
Yes, the cooling sheets work. I'm

speaker-1 (20:04.6)
They didn't work enough to to

speaker-0 (20:06.806)
No, they weren't enough to fend fend off the the furnace. The the the nighttime furnace, so hm We've got a list and it's getting long.

speaker-1 (20:20.118)
Too profound would f so.

For real estate use. Probably eight. They do. I was gonna I just I just down downsized that to about probably No, they're probably six inches. Yeah. Cause you don't really don't need that much to attach a rider. You just loop it and

And keep in mind j the lanyard is long enough that she doesn't have to like try to hold her purse up while unlocking the door. She can only needs to lift the key just as she wants to.

speaker-1 (23:30.078)
Just doesn't leave her person.

So anyway, yes, we'll be getting ready. And then we'll be leaving. Leaving on Friday, driving to my sisters and Rochester. Rochester on Saturday morning heading out to the Cape.

speaker-0 (28:36.48)
And drive in right through the capital region. I think that's great. Just zoom zoom right through. It's okay. It's right. Sign.

speaker-1 (28:44.064)
We haven't had that conversation.

speaker-0 (28:45.966)
Don't give it another thought. Just keep going. That's right. You're right. You're absolutely correct. So I don't you're right. Why would why would you impede your momentum? Just keep zippity doodling along, for sure.

speaker-1 (28:49.12)
I have no one there.

speaker-0 (29:07.384)
So Brynn has had a lovely time with Sunday. Mm hmm. Yeah. Even though she did grumble a little bit about being awakened to five ish, but she's just she's hung in there and this has been her big audition for a puppy, so Yeah, she's

speaker-1 (29:10.786)
Big dog.

speaker-1 (29:25.078)
Yeah.

Yeah.

speaker-0 (29:30.77)
Married. Yeah. She doesn't care. She's all in. All in. Mm-hmm. She's been all I mean she she was ready four years ago. I mean she and she would have been yeah.

speaker-1 (29:37.014)
It's the sweetest thing ever.

speaker-1 (29:44.93)
Didn't she have a fish so that she could prove that she could take care of everything?

speaker-0 (29:47.938)
Yes. Yeah. Yes. Yeah, she's she's ready. Big time. And the dog I got to see her see her the other day. She's gotten so big in just a week. But she's like long and she's svelt. She's still very svelt and like just the way she

speaker-1 (30:06.264)
She wiggles and wobbles.

speaker-0 (30:07.822)
She's a software She's a cutie. She's a cutie. Brynn has her waiting for like thirty seconds before she eats her dinner.

speaker-1 (30:17.058)
Wow, well honey does that too. Although last night he said, because I fed the dog last night, he said, we've got an we've got a new addition to our routine. You gotta give her some love before you let her eat. I was like, okay. You know. That's our sit, you make her sit and stay.

speaker-0 (30:36.363)
The dog because the dog

speaker-1 (30:42.6)
used to do is just say, Okay and then she would know she could eat. But now we're treating her with love.

speaker-0 (30:46.911)
Treating her.

Because

speaker-1 (30:52.16)
I don't know. We must have done it a couple of times and decided it was a good routine.

speaker-0 (30:57.622)
Well, Linda was telling me that the f Bartholomew, the pig the hundred and eighty pound pig, after he poos in the litter box, he expects three Cheerios. So you've got his three cheer three Cheerios Big Huge pig. And you better have those three Cheerios because

speaker-1 (31:19.192)
For this child.

speaker-0 (31:27.732)
You do not want a hundred and eighty pound pig pissed off.

speaker-1 (31:34.207)
This is open.

speaker-0 (31:35.214)
Three shirt this big huge freaking thing.

speaker-1 (31:39.086)
I mean, that's like what is it, inhale them through its nostrils? I mean

speaker-0 (31:45.24)
Linda has a very good relationship with the pig. The pig responds to her and is, you know, hasn't her no that well there was an issue with her son, another son at one point. But not her. No, she hasn't had any any problems with pig aggression holding up a cushion or a pillow to protect protect himself. And and the pig has taken over the couch.

speaker-1 (31:51.855)
Have you ever charged?

speaker-0 (32:14.742)
Well that's where sle lives, sleeps, the whole you know the whole thing. so she had to go up there once to do something with the other animals, feed them and whatnot, and she's on the phone with her son Joe and says, Where's Barth Bartholomew? I don't see Bartholomew. And Joe said he's all covered up under blankets on this couch. He burrows he said you couldn't see him at all. He had himself all under this mountain.

speaker-1 (32:43.758)
Wow. Yeah. Big lump.

speaker-0 (32:47.938)
Yeah. Big lump, big lump. Big lump. So yeah, you mm. It's his couch. It's the way it goes. So yeah, she's her grandpig. And I guess they live you know, be twenty or years old or so. I think that's what I heard, yeah. We both decided we could not have Bartholomew bacon though.

speaker-1 (33:06.178)
They live that long?

speaker-1 (33:13.582)
I was just gonna I was just gonna ask you, well, are they gonna eat him?

speaker-0 (33:17.502)
I you know what? I could see that going either way. You know what I mean? I could I could see f I could see I could see Joe going either way with that. And it's not his pig. It's not it's it's

speaker-1 (33:21.133)
Mm.

speaker-1 (33:31.027)
He's he's only half a pig owner. Or owner of half a pig.

speaker-0 (33:34.414)
It's partner's pig. Former po his former partner's pig. And she can't have the pig because, you know, she's in an apartment.

speaker-1 (33:44.204)
He still considers it her pig, not their pig.

speaker-0 (33:46.752)
I believe if given the opportunity to forfeit custody of said pig that there would be no issue with sole custody being awarded. That's my impression.

speaker-1 (33:59.342)
Okay, gotcha. Mm, all right.

speaker-0 (34:04.014)
So dutiful, you know? But I don't think, you know, it would be a crushing situation. But I can't imagine living

speaker-1 (34:17.024)
No, 180 pounds. I've seen those little ones and they're so cute.

speaker-0 (34:21.986)
Well, he he was. He was very cute when we first met him. He was he weighed, you know, maybe twelve pounds. But and I haven't seen I have not seen him. We have not laid eyes on him. The kids still wonder, Do you think the pig will be there? I'm like, I know the pig will not be at Linda and Allen's out. Alan won't go near it.

speaker-1 (34:44.59)
Do you think the k pig will be there?

speaker-0 (34:47.413)
Alan won't go near it. Alan will not go near no. No.

speaker-1 (34:50.989)
That's funny. That is funny.

speaker-0 (34:53.282)
That pig. Sweet talks about it. Well, they don't there's no love loss between either. I think he thinks the pig has it out for him, so as far as I can throw. So yeah, I that yeah. Lovely. Yeah. Yeah.
